Mesa, AZ: Since 1974, WMS has held a conference that promotes education, innovation, and collaboration around the world, and we will continue to do so at WM2021. In fact, this year WMS is even more committed to the education of the next generation of leaders in our industry. We will be providing more funding for scholarships in 2021 than we did in 2020!
In light of on-going developments with COVID-19 and after thoughtful discussions with our Board of Directors and key industry partners, WM Symposia has decided to move WM2021 to a fully virtual experience. We feel a virtual conference is the safest approach for the well-being of our global audience.
We are excited that this virtual event makes it possible to broaden the learning opportunities at a reduced cost while offering impactful networking and opportunities to engage over the emerging topics in our field. We are forging exciting new territory, as are so many conferences and meetings, and our team is developing a robust digital experience for our presenters, participants, sponsors, and exhibitors. Moving our face-to-face conference to a fully online format presents us with the unique opportunity to spotlight the best of what the online modality affords – meaningful collaboration with colleagues around the world.
