Jan Carlin, Managing Director of Waste Management Symposia (WMS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jackie Quintyne as its new Conference Manager. WMS, with offices in Mesa, Arizona, is the premier non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and information exchange on global radioactive waste management.

The annual WM Symposia held every March in Phoenix, Arizona, is the largest international conference for the management of radioactive material and related topics. It was founded to provide a forum for discussing and seeking cost-effective and environmentally responsible solutions for the safe management and disposal of radioactive waste and radioactive materials.

Originally from Chicago, Jackie has nineteen years of experience in planning and executing high quality meetings and events. She has strong expertise in event design, budget planning, contract negotiation, client/vendor relationship management, time management and problem solving. Jackie has worked for WMS in the past in the role of Lead Conference Planner where she implemented cost savings solutions to meet budget restrictions, while providing a stellar attendee experience.

Jackie is an active member of Meeting Professionals International and serves as the Volunteer Lead for the Arizona Chapter of the DePaul Alumni Association, which boasts over 2,000 members. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. She continued her education at DePaul University, where she earned an MBA.
